Tulip Parade in Yalta

The Nikita Botanical Garden amazes its guests by exhibiting a magnificent Tulip Parade. The Spring Flower Exhibition, dedicated to the 200-year anniversary of the Garden, displays 160 varieties of domestic and foreign tulips. Red and yellow, pastel and apricot, sharp-ended and classical – tulips can be so varied and so unique.

On 14 April the “Ai-Petri” restaurant of the Yalta Hotel hosted the Easter Session of the Small Cooks’ Academy. Prominent cooks taught children how to bake Easter cakes and decorate Easter eggs. In addition, there were a lot of nice surprises and exciting games!

100 best hotels of Ukraine

The Yalta Hotel has been ranked among 100 best hotels in Ukraine according to the rating published by the Tourism and Resorts Council at the end of March.
Ukrainian hotels were evaluated by a number of criteria, including rooms, restaurants, conference service, staff, and location. In addition, the jury took into account the opinion of leading tour operators on price and quality, as well as reviews of tourists posted in the Internet.

Tango and Cha-cha-cha at the Yalta Hotel

From 30 March to 1 April the “Crystal Hall” of the Yalta Hotel was the venue for the Yalta Cup 2012 – Sport Dances Championships. Participants from Ukraine, Russia, Italy and Moldova charmed the audience with their cha-cha-cha, samba, rumba, foxtrot, and tango.
It is hardly possible to doubt that ballet dances are amazing. Three days and three evenings left unforgettable recollections both of sportsmen and the audience.

AMWAY: we are in Yalta again

On 10 March Dmitry Lomov, waiter of the Lobby Bar, and Andrey Smolentsev, barman of the karaoke-club “Broadway” and the disco-bar “Massandra”, took the first and second places in a traditional waiters’ race as part of Roosevelt Street’s celebrations in Yalta. Dmitry and Andrey left all their competitors far behind, thus proving that the Yalta Hotel’s waiters are the fastest.

Crimea gets 18 out of 23 Ukrainian Travel Awards

On 1 March the Crimea was for the first time the venue for the “Ukrainian Travel Awards” ceremony. The event was a part of the International Fair “Crimea. Resorts. Tourism.”
The majority of awards – 18 out of 23, in fact – stayed in the Crimea. The Yalta Hotel is one of the winners.
The “Ukrainian Travel Awards” was initiated in 2006 and is regarded as an important event in the tourism sector of Ukraine.

From 29 February to 2 March the Yalta Hotel hosts the 21st International Tourism Fair “Crimea. Resorts. Tourism.” This event is to link the current format with a future one – “Go to the Black Sea” concept.
The tourism fair will present many new things. 150 tour operators and agents from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus have been invited for the first time. For the first time tour operators are expected from Turkey. Seven new sightseeing routes are to be presented.
